 |
| Q : |
How
do I replace the batteries? |
| A : |
The
bottom cover slides back to reveal the battery
compartment. Remove the old batteries and
install 2 AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries
into the battery compartment according to
the polarity (+/-) instruction. Replace the
bottom cover after the batteries have been
installed. |
 |
| Q : |
The
One Touch™ Automatic Can Opener stopped
in the middle while opening a can.
What
should I do? |
| A : |
Occasional
jams might occur due to deformed can rims
or low battery level. First, press and hold
the small button at the rear of the Can Opener:
it activates the reverse and releases the
can. Please check your batteries after a
jam. If the reverse does not work, it means
that your batteries are depleted. In this
case you can insert a 4 or 5mm crosshead
(or flat) screwdriver into the Stall Release
Screw, and slowly turn it in a clockwise
direction until the can is released. Then
replace the batteries. |

but they might deteriorate during transportation
or storage. Please insert a set of new batteries
and try again. If the problem persists, please
contact the store. |

| Q : |
Are
there any cans I cannot open with the One
Touch™ Automatic Can Opener? |
| A : |
Like
any other can opener, the One Touch™ Automatic
Can Opener should not be used on pressurized
(aerosol-type) cans and cans of flammable
liquids such as lighter fluids.
The One Touch™ Automatic
Can Opener is not suitable for cans with
heavy seams, uneven rims or odd shapes. |
|
| Q : |
Can
I open cans with tabs? |
| A : |
Yes.
You can turn them upside down, so that the
can opener can work on the lid without the
tab. Please note that the can opener requires
a rim to operate, so make sure the bottom
of the can has a rim before using your One
Touch™ Automatic Can Opener. |
|
| Q : |
Can
I wash the One
Touch™ Automatic Can Opener in a
sink or dishwasher? |
| A : |
No,
water will get into the motor and battery
compartment, damaging the Can Opener. To
clean the cutter, wipe the cutter with a
damp cloth or a sponge, using a mild non-abrasive
cleaner, followed with a clean, dry cloth
to dry it completely. As a safety precaution,
remember to remove the batteries prior to
cleaning the cutter. |
|
| Q : |
Is
there a maximum diameter that the One Touch™ Automatic
Can Opener cuts in one operation? |
| A : |
Yes,
the maximum can size that can be fully cut
in one go is 90mm (3.5”) diameter.
If the lid of a bigger can (Maximum 100mm),
need to be completely removed, press the
start button again and let go once it resumes
cutting. Once again, the can opener will
stop automatically after cutting. |
